If you liked the first two books of this series, you'll like this one and should continue. And stop reading here.
Below is why I won't continue in the series. I'm mostly trying to figure this out for myself, but maybe others will get something out of it.
Especially in this book, the first and last chapters are well written and clear. So we have to assume that the writer is changing things for a reason. I think she mixes things up in the middle to create some kind of unease as a form of tension. But to me, it's like she took a good story and threw it into a tumble drier; to me, it's just confusing.
She also has parts where she expounds the character's thoughts and where she details food and place. But with the story jumble, they don't add to the coherence.

I read to know what the author is trying to say, and I don't think I'll ever figure out what Penny's saying. Time to put this series down.
